Beginning Monday, May 17, the New Orleans Public Library will expand services, including allowing patrons to come into Library buildings without making appointments.
The Library will continue to follow City health officials and CDC guidelines in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including masking and social distancing.
Expanded services include the following:
Libraries open for walk-in service: tables and chairs will also be available
Library Hours Expanded: Mondays - Thursdays from 10am - 6pm and Fridays & Saturdays from 10am - 5pm
Martin Luther King, Jr. Library will be open for contactless pick-up & drop-off on Mondays & Wednesdays from 10am - 1pm.
The City Archives & Special Collections are open by appointment Mondays - Fridays from 10am - 5pm. Please contact the Archives at 504-596-2610 or firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance or to schedule an appointment.
