Groundbreaking at Nora Navra Library

Description

Mayor Mitch Landrieu, City Librarian Charles Brown, and community members held a groundbreaking on Tuesday, March 7, at Nora Navra Library. The original 2,500 square foot library was constructed in 1954 and was severely damaged during Hurricane Katrina. That building will be cleared and a new 7,800 square foot library will be built in its place.
