Lawyers in Libraries

Description

Discuss your legal concerns one-on-one with a local lawyer. Advice provided on a first-come, first-served basis. The clinic does not handle criminal cases.

Do you have divorce or custody issues? Need information about food stamps, Medicaid or Social Security? Want advice on bankruptcy, taxes, wills, and housing? A licensed attorney can answer your question or direct you to the resources you need.

In partnership with the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Legal Education Assistance Program (LEAP) and the Louisiana Library Association (LLA).
