Fundraising Workshop Series with the Funding Seed: Grant Writing for Beginners

Description

About the Series

Since 2010, The Funding Seed's Nora Ellertsen has applied the philosophy, "Teach a person to fish and they will have food for a lifetime" to fundraising, with the goal of helping organizations to develop strong skills that will make them successful for the long term. She will be at 3 New Orleans Public Library locations this fall delivering 2 of her most successful workshops.

About this Workshop

This workshop gives you the basic tools you need to start writing grants for your nonprofit organization. Participants will learn how to find funding opportunities, tools and tips for writing proposals, and ways to make a program competitive for repeat funding.
